It seems that a 47-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son were attacked by about ten people, in the Mesa Geitonia area, in Limassol.
As the 47-year-old reported to the Police, on Wednesday night, while she was with her son in the area of Kalogeropoulei High School, they were attacked by unknown young persons.
The two went to the Limassol General Hospital, where they were examined by a doctor. The 16-year-old was found to have a broken nose and broken ribs and was admitted to the surgical department for observation. The mother had no obvious external injuries.

Serious incidents between masked men broke out last night in Limassol, resulting in the injury of a 21-year-old man, as well as material damage in the area.
According to the Police, at around 22:50 yesterday, the Police received a message that a large number of hooded men with bats, stones, and other objects had gathered outside the building of the Association of Fans of a football team.
The Police went to the area, where two groups of hooded men got involved by throwing stones, firecrackers, and Molotov cocktails.
As a result of the fight, a car caught fire in the area and a 21-year-old man was injured. Specifically, from the fight the 21-year-old was injured in the elbow, he was taken to the hospital where it was found that he had suffered a fracture.
It is noted that with the presence of the Police in the area of the incidents, the two groups of hooded men dispersed in the neighbourhoods.
The Police proceeded to take statements from last night, but so far no arrests have been made.

The police are looking for two people in connection with the burglary of a country house in Chloraka.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, on October 19 a 66-year-old complained that his country house, located in the Chlorakas area, was broken into between September 8 and October 19, and a total of property was stolen from it worth €850.
Tests carried out by the Police obtained testimony against 37-year-old and 33-year-old residents of Pafos, against whom arrest warrants were obtained and they are wanted.

The Paphos Police arrested a 28-year-old man on Wednesday for an investigation of vehicle theft, illegal possession of drugs and illegal possession of property to facilitate investigations.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on 15.11.23 at 7:40 p.m. a 79-year-old permanent resident of Paphos reported that his vehicle, worth €1,500, owned by his wife, had been stolen around 4:15 p.m. which was parked in a garage of his friend's residence in Lemba and that inside the vehicle there was also his mobile phone worth €100, three bank cards in his name, as well as a sum of €65.
From the examinations carried out by the Police at the scene, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, he obtained testimony regarding the perpetrator and it is said that he is a 28-year-old man, against whom a judicial arrest warrant was obtained.
On the same day, at 22:35 he was spotted by members of the Police and arrested. During his transfer to the Police, he allegedly indicated that the stolen vehicle was parked on a certain street in Lemba.
Also, the three bank cards were found inside it, however, the amount of money of €65 and the mobile phone are missing, for which the suspect has so far not cooperated to indicate them. Further in his possession was allegedly found a bag containing a crystalline substance similar to methamphetamine, a cross, two earrings and a chain of unknown value at this time. The offenses he faces are vehicle theft, illegal possession of narcotics and illegal possession of property. The examinations for the case continue by the TAE Paphos.

A robbery was allegedly committed at a kiosk in Kato Paphos this morning.
According to the Police, at 4:17 on Thursday morning a person wearing a hood entered a kiosk in Kato Paphos with a pistol demanding the money from the clerk. Subsequently, according to the employee's complaint, after he took the sum of approximately €300 from the kiosk's cash register, he ran away.
The Police were called to the scene and started the examination by collecting evidence, surveillance circuits, the employee's statement and securing testimony.
The case is being examined by the Pafos Crime Investigation Department.

One of the most unusual cases ever is the case of a man who stole 1,275 meters of overhead cable yesterday morning to get copper.
Fortunately, the fact that the person in question was not electrocuted, however, did not escape the Police officers who caught him in the act cutting the EAC overhead cables with scissors.
According to the Police, the cable theft occurred yesterday morning in the area of Platres when the suspect with the help of a double-cab vehicle managed to pass through the power lines a specific object and after tying them to the back of his vehicle, then pulled them and cut them off from the piles. The alleged perpetrator in the same way managed to cut wires from 5 piles. This resulted in an area of Pano Platres being without electricity for hours and affecting a small portion of houses.
After stealing the overhead cables, the suspect went to close proximity to the area and with handcuffs began cutting the wires to get the copper. The Platres Police Station had been informed about the incident, members of which went to the scene for on-site examinations and investigations. Members of the force then spotted the suspect cutting the wires and attempting to remove the copper, and proceeded to arrest him.
Since yesterday morning, EAC crews were on foot at the spot to repair the damage and proceeded with the installation of new piles. The damage to the EAC network is estimated to exceed €13,500.

In Limassol, Police members apprehended a minor for receiving stolen goods and traffic-related offences. The minor was found riding a motorcycle on a Limassol road.
Police officers from Unit Z intercepted the minor for verification, discovering that the motorcycle had been reported stolen in the preceding days.
The Limassol Traffic Department is investigating the case.

Today commences the trial at the Paphos Criminal Court involving a 34-year-old individual accused of attempting to murder a 31-year-old in Psathi during the early hours of Sunday, September 24th.
The attempted murder took place at five in the morning on Sunday, September 24th, when the accused, who has since been in custody, fired two shots from his hunting rifle at the 31-year-old.
This occurred as the latter arrived outside his residence and parked his vehicle. The 34-year-old had parked in the victim’s yard and was awaiting his arrival, according to authorities.
The gunshots were immediately noticed by the victim’s relatives, who rushed to the yard and found the 31-year-old covered in blood.
They transported him in his vehicle to Paphos Hospital. He was then transferred to Nicosia General Hospital.
The perpetrator of the shootings was restrained on the spot by the victim’s family members and subsequently handed over to the Police along with the firearm used during the incident.
During interrogation, the 34-year-old admitted to the act, attributing it to personal disputes he had with the 31-year-old.
