Extra-judicial fines were issued to three hunters by the Game Fund on Sunday, for transporting an assembled shotgun and for a device that produces imitation bird calls.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, members of the Paphos Hunting Fund while on patrol in the Kouklion area on Sunday morning stopped a suspicious vehicle driven by a 52-year-old man and during a check, it was found that he was transporting of his mounted hunting vehicle. An extrajudicial fine of €150 was issued against him.
Also in the same area, two persons aged 39 and 42 were identified who were using a device that produces imitative sounds of wild birds while hunting. An extrajudicial fine of €500 was issued against them each.

The Police in Paphos proceeded to arrest a 22-year-old man on Saturday for an investigated case of illegal possession of narcotic substances to facilitate investigations.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and head of TAE Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, on November 11 at 2:05, members of the Paphos Crime Prevention Association and the Paphos Traffic Police stopped a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old man on Griva Digeni Avenue.
The 22-year-old was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis as well as a crystalline substance similar to methamphetamine.

For cases of armed robbery and sexual exploitation of minors allegedly committed between June and November 2012 in Rome, the 45-year-old man who was arrested at Paphos airport was ultimately wanted under an international arrest warrant.
After his arrest, he was brought before the Pafos District Court, which ordered that he remain in custody and the extradition process continues tomorrow.
The 45-year-old went to Paphos Airport on Friday to depart for Bucharest. During passport control, it was found that a European arrest warrant was pending against him, on the basis of which he was arrested and detained pending extradition proceedings.
