Six flights, three departures and three arrivals to and from Paphos Airport to Israel are expected to take place today.
Cyprus airports are used as a transit station according to Maria Kouroupi, Senior Director of Aviation Development and Communication at Hermes Airports. Replying to a question, Kouroupi said that "both yesterday and today the flights arriving in Cyprus and those departing for Israel are full.
Most of the passengers are people who are either returning or coming to stay in Cyprus, while the departing are mostly Israelis."
He also noted that "of the passengers arriving in Cyprus from Israel, there appear to be some nationals of foreign countries, especially from America and Canada."
