The Municipality of Pafos accepts offers for the creation of the Historical Documentation Centre of the City of Pafos and landscaping of the surrounding area.
Interested parties can obtain the Tender Documents from the electronic procurement system of the Treasury.
Bids must be submitted by 7 November 2023 at 12.00.
This is a pioneering project, which will include a Museum for the promotion of the city's history and the regeneration of clientele spaces and streets in the area that extends from the Old Central Police Station to the Armenian Park.
The central idea of the project is the creation in the heart of the historic centre of Pafos of an enclave of culture and architectural heritage with high quality pedestrian infrastructure. Through the project, the Pafos Municipality aims to create a bridge of memory and architecture between the Museum of Historical Memory and the balcony of the old town.
The project, the value of which is estimated at € 9,500,000 plus VAT (€ 11,305,000), includes, among others, the complete restoration and reuse of the building of the old police station for use as a historical documentation center of the city of Pafos, the addition and expansion of the former police station building to meet the needs of the new use and the configuration of the area from the old police station to the
Armenian Park.
It also includes landscapes with greenery, pedestrian bridge, canopies, urban equipment etc.
