The K.S. of Kissonerga, in the context of the promotion and enrichment of the Coastal Pedestrian walkway of Kissonerga, has proceeded to the construction of a Point of Interest named 'Lock Your Love', where passing users of the walkway will be able to safely admire the spectacular view of the area and at the same time, will be able to 'Lock Their Love' by placing a lock on a specially constructed railing.
The railing, approximately 70 metres long, which has been installed to provide protection against falls, has a semicircular shape and is separated into 12 months in which appropriate marking has been affixed. Guests can place a lock in the month that matters to them, giving them the opportunity to locate their lock on their next visit. The project 'Lock Your Love' in Kissonerga has been constructed with materials that are consistent with the area and the coastal pedestrian street.
The selected spot is located in an open elevated area along the coastal walkway of Kissonerga and which has spectacular views of the sea and the characteristic rocky coastline of the area.
The project 'Lock Your Love in Kissonerga', which is unique of its kind for Paphos, is expected to attract visitors and increase traffic to the coastal walkway.
