While the tourist season is coming to an end, a leisure centre in Paphos was operating without a licence.
It was denounced last night by members of the ELD. Members of the Pafos Traffic Police also made 20 complaints overnight for various traffic offences.

The Pafos District Court issued a five-day detention order on Sunday against a 61-year-old man in a case of attempted murder against a 36-year-old man, to facilitate investigations.
According to the Police, the suspect appeared before the Pafos District Court on Sunday as part of an investigation into an attempted murder case.
Specifically, around two o'clock on Friday, information was received by the Police about an injured person in an area of Paphos.
Members of the Police went to the area, where they located the injured man, a 36-year-old man, who was transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital.
According to the evidence under examination, while the 36-year-old was with a friend outside a kiosk in Paphos, they were approached by an unknown man, who started chatting with them.

The case of the Syrian, negative protagonist of the Chloraka incidents, has been postponed to November 17. The Syrian, who has been in Cyprus for many years, is married to a Cypriot woman, had threatened to turn Pafos upside down, while on the evening of the second day of the incidents after the arson of his vehicle he had made threats against police officers.
The Syrian who has since been detained has pleaded guilty to most of the charges he faces, namely provoking and inciting terrorism, assaulting and insulting a police officer and using drugs.

A death ambush was set in the morning on a known person, who was shot dead in the Germasogeia area of Limassol.
The incident reportedly happened around 08:00 this morning when the 55-year-old arrived in the area for his morning swim in the sea. While trying to park his vehicle, a second car parked next to him from which two people in black clothes and balaclavas came out armed and shot the 55-year-old.
They then fled and five minutes later in a field set fire to the vehicle in the Germasogeia area, in which they left both guns, a gun and a pistol which were found burned.
Bathers heard the gunshots and it seems that the authorities have in their hands testimonies of people who witnessed the gangster murder.
According to information from the police, the victim was shot by both assailants. The scene has been cordoned off early by strong forces while the Limassol Police Director, Nikos Nikou, as well as the Assistant Chief of Operations, Yiannakis Georgiou, are at the scene.
It should be noted that relatives of the victim are also at the scene.

A 24-year-old Greek Cypriot man was sentenced to six months in prison by the BB Court in Episkopi after he was caught walking around with a knife in Trachoni on October 25.
SBA police officers arrested the man who was spotted in a park in Trachoni after a phone call from a citizen.
Lieutenant George Lewis, who led the operation, praises the police officers and the citizen who reported the incident.
He explained: "This was another successful operation and we will continue to enforce the law and those who ignore it and violate it by committing offences will be punished.
"Our goal is and will remain to be to create and maintain a safe and equitable environment for those who live, work or pass through communities within BB."

Two men were arrested on Sunday in the village of Syrianochori after stealing 260 kilograms of oranges from an orange grove.
The men, aged 47 and 45, were found to have been picking oranges from trees on private property.
The oranges were taken as evidence and the police investigation is ongoing.
