A total of 100 people arrived in Cyprus with the first flights of the Royal British Air Force and the Royal Danish Air Force at Larnaka and Pafos airports respectively. Among the passengers who arrived in Cyprus on the British plane were eight Cypriots.

Meanwhile, the operation to evacuate Israeli and foreign nationals has also been carried out by the warplanes of the Royal Danish Air Force. Flights are expected to continue throughout the day.

It is worth noting that all competent state services are on foot for the mass arrivals of Israelis and third-country nationals at all entrances of the Republic of Cyprus.

In the meantime, tents have been installed at the ZENON coordination center in Larnaka, while until Sunday in Zenon, among others, departments of the Embassies of the USA, Canada, Italy and UNHCR will be installed, in order to assist in the process of repatriating their nationals.

In addition, the port of Limassol is in full readiness, while all actions have been taken by the involved services for the arrival of a ship on Sunday evening, which will reportedly carry about 2,100 people from Haifa. The cruise ship of MSC Sinfonia is expected to arrive on the same day.
