Weak low pressure is gradually starting to affect the area, with unstable weather expected through to Tuesday.
Today the weather will initially be mostly clear with locally increased clouds. Gradually clouds will thicken and isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains, interior and eastern areas. The winds will initially blow mainly southeast to southwest and locally variable, weak and locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually turning to southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transiently on the south coast until strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be a little turbulent, to later become a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 34 degrees in the interior and north coasts, around 32 in the southeast and east coasts, around 31 in the rest of the coasts and around 27 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, initially there may be isolated showers or even an isolated thunderstorm mainly in the eastern half of the island, but soon the weather will become mostly clear with locally increased clouds at times. Later, isolated rains or even an isolated thunderstorm may occur, mainly on the north and east coasts. The winds will blow mainly variable, weak, 3 Beaufort, although initially on the south and east coasts will blow until moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will become calm to a little turbulent, however on the west coast it will remain locally a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 20 degrees in the interior, around 21 on the southwest coast, around 23 on the rest of the coasts and around 16 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Monday the weather will gradually become partly cloudy and isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountainous and northern half of the island. On Tuesday, developing clouds are expected to produce isolated showers or even isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and northern areas. On Wednesday the weather will be mostly clear, with locally increased clouds in the mountains and inland in the afternoon.
The temperature until Wednesday is not expected to change significantly, to remain close to average climatic values.
