As the President of the Pafos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, George Mais, was informed by competent state departments and officials, the announcement of the tender for the recruitment of consultants for the preparation of the tender documents for the Pafos Marina is postponed until the middle of this month. And this, according to Mr. May, due to a problem in the documents sent for opinion.
Although the announcement was expected in early August, said the president of the Pafos Chamber of Commerce, an issue arose with the documents that were sent to the Legal Service for an opinion that required some corrections to be made. These corrections were made, he stressed, the documents were sent back to the Legal Service and are now expected to be ready in September.
Regarding the expectations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Pafos institutions in general, after the continuous delays in the tender for the major project, George Mais noted that the positions of the Pafos institutions on the framework of development have been met. The tender will be conducted using the BOT method, he concluded, and interested investors will be invited to it based on the terms of the notice.
