ISRAELI INVESTMENT OF €20.5 million IN LATCHI

The approval of the environmental authority was secured by a large development with a total cost of €20.5 million. in Polis Chrysochous.

These are essentially organized tourist apartments of 272 beds, under the name "Leonardo Club Latsi", which will belong to the portfolio of the Israeli interests Fattal Group, a project that is estimated to be completed in early 2026.

According to the Environmental Impact Study, which was submitted, the development concerns the construction of a tourist development consisting of 18 Blocks, eleven of which are of tourist use, five are of public use, one is a control point and the other is a sports area with underground support space, in the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous.

According to the architects of the project, a total coverage area of 6,477.55 sq.m. and a total building area of 7,750 sq.m. are proposed.

More specifically, in Blocks A, B, D – I, J, K and L will be located tourist accommodation, with a total number of rooms 136, of which 11 will be for people with disabilities and will be located in Blocks F, G and H.

Each room is expected to contain 2 beds and in total the proposed development will be able to accommodate 272 guests. It is important to mention that Blocks A, B, D, J and K will consist of one floor, while Blocks E – I and L will consist of 2 floors.

Blocks C, P, Q, R and T are intended for public use and are expected to be mainly catering establishments.

According to the architects of the project, in Blocks C and P there will be a restaurant, in Block Q it is expected to be the pool bar, in Block R there will be a snack bar and in Block T there will be ice cream.

It is noted that Block C also has commercial and office use. Block C will consist of a basement and 2 floors and Block P will consist of a basement, where auxiliary spaces of the restaurant will be located, and one floor.

Blocks R, Q and T will consist of 1 floor. Below Block R is also a basement, which consists of a gym, games area and storage space.

In addition, there are expected to be 2 more Blocks, M and N. Block M concerns the Control Point that will consist of 1 floor and will be located at the main entrance of the development area, while Block N concerns a sports area with an underground auxiliary space.

In addition, the proposed project is expected to construct a total of 12 swimming pools, one of which is the main pool of the development with a capacity of 1,495 m3 and which includes a children's pool and a Spa pool.

For the needs of the building, it is proposed to create 215 parking spaces, of which 9 are for people with disabilities.

In addition, the Architects propose the construction of 12 bicycle parking spaces, as well as parking spaces for taxis and buses.

Finally, it should be recalled that the Fattal Hotel Group recently proceeded with the opening of NYX in Limassol, while announcing the acquisition of the Grand Resort, while the opening of NYX on Makarios Avenue in Nicosia is also on track.

The group entered the Cypriot market in 2017 and currently has hotels in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca and Protaras in its portfolio.
