Next Monday, the process of integrating private Accident and Emergency Departments into the GHS begins. The process will start on September 25 with the integration of the Department of Polyclinic "Hygeia" in Limassol. The integration of the TAEP will of course be simultaneous with the integration of the entire hospital into the system.
This means that in Limassol there will be three Emergency Departments within the GHS since, in addition to public services, Mediterranean Hospital already offers emergency services.
Further and definitively now, on October 1st, Apollonion Hospital in Nicosia.joins the GHS and the Accident and Emergency Department. As of 1 October, Nicosia residents will have at their disposal two TACs within the GHS (including the GDP of Nicosia General Hospital).
According to information provided by "F", the construction works that were in progress in recent months at the hospital and aimed at remodelling its premises in order to be able to undertake and serve emergencies have been completed and this morning the new facilities were also inspected by the Health Insurance Organization.
Finally, as of yesterday, as we are informed, the gynaecology clinic "Ledra" in Nicosia has joined the GHS, which now offers its services through the system
