A total of 30 traffic complaints were made by the Police, following checks on vehicles, as part of an operation from Monday afternoon until 07:00 this Tuesday morning, in the areas of Chlorakas, Emba, and Tremithousa.
According to the spokesperson of the Pafos Police Authority and Head of the Pafos ICF, Michalis Nicolaou, two drivers were found, among others, driving under the influence of drugs and three drivers under the influence of alcohol.
Also, 6 vehicles were impounded for examination purposes.
In addition, a Crisis Situation Management Centre continues to operate at the Pafos Police Authority. Coordinated control and patrol operations continue by the Police, with the aim of tackling crime and consolidating security in the wider area, the Police said.
It is noted that for the recent incidents in Chloraka and for the riot, other persons are wanted, in addition to the 21 who have been arrested.
