The Police will proceed with the registration of cases tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6, as part of the examinations in relation to the incidents that unfolded both in Chloraka and Limassol.
Specifically, before the Limassol District Court, 13 persons will be charged in relation to the recent incidents in Limassol. In addition, six (6) other persons have been charged in writing with possession of offensive instruments, etc.
At the Pafos District Court, another 17 persons will be charged in connection with the incidents under investigation in Chloraka. In addition, in the context of investigations into the incidents, another 11 persons have been arrested, charged or are expected to be charged in writing at the end of the examinations.
Also, in relation to audiovisual material posted on Social Media concerning a person in Limassol, in relation to a case of hate speech, threat of violence, public insult, etc., this was identified, interrogated and charged in writing, to be later summoned before a Court.
