A nationwide speed control campaign took place between Monday 7-13 August, the Cyprus Police announced.
During the campaign, it is reported, 978 complaints emerged concerning exceeding the speed limit.
The campaign was conducted simultaneously and at a pan-European level, in the framework of the cooperation of the Cyprus Police with the European Traffic Police Network ROADPOL.
