The temperature may have dropped slightly in recent days compared to the period of unbearable heat we had days ago, but next weekend is expected to be particularly hot.
As the meteorological officer, Panagiotis Georgiou, told "F", both on Saturday and Sunday the temperature is expected to rise and range from 40 to 42 degrees Celsius.

The sea in the south and east will become calm to a little turbulent, however in the west and north it will remain a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 21 degrees in the interior, around 23 degrees on the coast and 19 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday, the weather will be mostly clear, with locally increased clouds at times.
On Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear.
On Friday, the temperature is not expected to change significantly, to remain close to average climatic values. By Sunday, however, the temperature will rise, to hover above the average climatic values for the season.
