HIGH TEMPERATURES TILL FRIDAY

A new yellow warning for extremely high temperatures has been issued by the Department of Meteorology. The warning will be in effect from 12:30 noon on Tuesday until 16:00 pm.

The bulletin in detail:

Seasonal low pressure affects the area.

Today the weather will be mostly clear, although initially there will be locally increased low cloud. The winds will blow, initially variable weak 3 Beaufort, becoming gradually, mainly southwest to northwest, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort.

The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 40 degrees in the interior, around 34 in the southwest and east coasts, around 32 in the rest of the coasts as well as in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, although, especially in the west, there will be temporarily increased low clouds.

The winds will initially blow mainly west to northwest weak 3 and locally up to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming later, variable weak 2 to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 22 degrees in the interior and north coasts, around 24 degrees on the rest of the coasts and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will be mostly clear, with the temperature not changing significantly, fluctuating above the average climatic values.
