Police on Thursday evening arrested four third-country nationals after they raided the place three of them were staying in coastal Limassol and confiscated a total of 595 grams of cocaine. As well as a substantial amount of cannabis.
The three men and one woman were taken into custody. Two of the men are aged 38, one is 35 and the woman is 25 years old.
About four grams of cannabis was also confiscated from the raided house.
Two electronic precision scales were also found in the yard of the house with traces of narcotics in them while several small amounts of money were seized as evidence. The money was found in the possession of the arrested persons.
Further investigations showed that one of the 38-year-old men and the young woman were illegally staying in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
