A 37-year-old man is in extremely critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital, who was found yesterday afternoon by a relative at his home in a pool of blood.
According to Steve Theodoulou, spokesperson for the Famagusta Police Headquarters, "at around 17.30 in the afternoon, a 37-year-old Greek Cypriot was found in a pool of blood at his home in Xylotymbou. The 37-year-old was found by a relative and suffered a severe blow to the head and was initially transferred to Larnaka General Hospital."
However, he continued, "due to the criticality of his condition, the man was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital. The 37-year-old is hospitalized in an extremely critical condition."
Famagusta ICF men went to the scene and cordoned off the scene and began investigations, while members of the Ministry of Defence began investigations and examinations to identify evidence and evidence that may lead to the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime.

During the operation, searches were carried out at two houses and one premises, of a 47-year-old man, in a village in the Larnaka district, where 61 boxes of duty-free cigarettes, 17.5 boxes of duty-free e-cigarettes, 20.5 boxes of duty-free tobacco, with a total weight of 5175 grams and 14 boxes of pharmaceutical preparations were located and confiscated.
The seized products were received by the Department of Customs, while the case was settled out of court with the payment of a sum of €6,000 by the 47-year-old.

A knife attack against a 49-year-old woman from Vietnam took place in Limassol on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the incident took place around 11:00 in the evening, when the woman was walking in an area of Limassol and was attacked by another woman, who injured her with a knife in the neck and hand.
The 49-year-old was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where she underwent surgery after being found to have a ruptured oesophagus and trauma to her arm.
She was then transferred to a private hospital to undergo another operation by a thoracic surgeon.

They were charged in writing and released to be summoned later four of the five arrested on Tuesday night, as part of measures taken by the police to prevent further incidents in the area of Chloraka, while the fifth person continues to be detained.

Shortly afterwards, a 29-year-old man was arrested, against whom a court arrest warrant was pending, issued after testimony was obtained against him regarding the above incidents.
