The most massive and dynamic protest event of the residents of Chloraka, but also of the surrounding communities of western low Pafos, took place in the afternoon in the center of the community.
Hundreds of people of all ages protested against the "ghettoization that has been brought about in the region by the uncontrolled arrival and activity of illegal aliens."
Those gathered marched through the main streets of the community and demonstrated with shouts and slogans for the restoration of legality and security in the area, demanding the immediate expulsion of all illegal aliens from the western area of Pafos and the prohibition of the relocation of new foreigners.
The atmosphere was particularly tense, although the event evolved and ended peacefully, due to the serious problems that have arisen lately with antisocial behavior of foreigners.
A strong police force was also present at the protest event, which did not need to intervene.

Serious tension broke out on Sunday night in Chloraka between local residents and foreigners, following the protest held in the area.
According to information from the incidents, damage was caused to premises in the area. Those involved are in possession of clubs and other dangerous objects.
