WATER
Residents are asked to be economical with water please in view of the high temperatures. Most of the water into Tala and onwards to Kamares is pumped. The pumps cannot keep up with demand, particularly from Kamares residents as the tanks are being drained as quickly as the water can be pumped into them.
All attempts are being made to maintain supply, but residents are please asked to keep their use to essential water use only and limit non-essential use such as garden watering.
As mentioned by the Water Board over the weekend, please avoid use of hosepipes, check systems for drips/leaks, and only use washing machines/dishwashers when the machines are fully loaded.
