The police were also on the streets last Saturday night. Dozens of traffic checks were carried out and several complaints from drivers emerged.
Twelve drivers were spotted driving under the influence of alcohol. The owner of a leisure shop in the centre of Paphos who did not have a license to operate and who broadcast music without a license was also denounced.

Agricultural tractor brand KUBOTA along with hoes worth €9,000 stolen by unknown persons from Geroskipou.
The tractor with its equipment was on a transport trailer which the perpetrators apparently connected and transported with their own vehicle.

The Limassol Fire Brigade was mobilized on Saturday night after a fire broke out in an abandoned house on Agias Sofias Street, near the Garyllis linear park, which at first sight was allegedly set by young people who frequent the neighborhood.
A fire truck went to the scene to extinguish the fire, while a member of the Police Force arrived at the scene to investigate the case.
It is worth noting that neighbours have long complained that they have become victims of juvenile delinquency, referring to constant harassment and insults by certain young people, mostly minors, who frequent the park and ask for drastic intervention by the authorities to resolve the issue.
