A serious problem that Pafos does not face with the priority that even the local authorities of the province should face in relation to crime.
Burglaries and thefts are the order of the day, while almost daily is the phenomenon of vehicle thefts, which in most cases are either looted or set on fire, after parts are removed from the perpetrators or after they are used in a criminal act.
Citizens are also angry with petty theft from their yards since, as many note in their comments on social media, they can no longer leave anything in their yard, furniture, utensils, pots, even fruits from their trees.
The daily looting of citizens' property should be stopped immediately by the state with the reinforcement of the province's police stations in order not to allow some to take the law into their own hands, as they threaten under the regime of daily pressure and fear they feel.
