The Ministry of Education provides clarifications on the registration or confirmation of registration of students of Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools, for the school year 2023 – 2024.
The procedure will be carried out as follows:
o For students of the first grade of Gymnasium, registration will take place on June 22 and 23, 2023, with the physical presence of parents/guardians at the Gymnasium, which their child will attend in the school year 2023-2024.
o For students of the second and third grades of Gymnasium, the second and third grades of Lyceum and the second and third grades of Technical Schools, the confirmation of registration will take place electronically from 19 to 21 June 2023, and not with the physical presence of parents/guardians in schools.
o For A' grade Lyceum students, registration will take place on 15 and 16 June 2023, with the physical presence of parents/guardians at the Lyceum where their child will attend in the school year 2023-2024.
o For students of the first grade of Technical Schools, registration will take place on 14 and 15 June 2023, with the physical presence of students and parents/guardians at the Technical School, where their child will attend in the school year 2023-2024.
In order to confirm the registration of students of the second and third grade of Gymnasium, the second and third grade of Lyceum and the second and third grade of Technical Schools, the Electronic Registration Confirmation Portal will be launched at https://engrafes.moec.gov.cy/ address and will be accessible to parents/guardians. Parents/guardians can also go to this Portal through the online Link (Banner) that will be activated on the website of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (YPAN): www.moec.gov.cy, from Monday 19 June 2023 until Wednesday 21 June 2023.
At the same time, parents/guardians who, for any reason, will not be able to register or confirm their child's registration in the timetables mentioned above, must present themselves to the school unit where their child will attend, from 26 to 28 June 2023, in order to process the registration or confirmation of their child's registration.
