The combination of flute and harp has enchanted listeners for millennia. The flute and harp duo Savvas Christodoulou (flute) and Anna Kulikova (harp) are two of the most respected artists of Cyprus music scene. They will present a varied programme which includes works J.S Bach, G.F Telemann and Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as Celtic music. Presented by Music in the Mountains.


Food & Accommodation: Silikou Coffee Shop offers simple pre-concert snacks served from 5pm until 7.30pm on the terrace, including burgers, hotdogs, salad and chips. Local beers and wines, coffee, ice cream and more are served on the terrace before the concert and in the interval. The concert takes place inside the kafenio building with concert style seating. Savvas Christodoulou (flute) was born in Limassol where he began his musical studies at a young age. In 2005 he moved to Prague to study flute performance in the Prague National Conservatory from where he graduated in 2010. In the same year he was accepted in Utrecht Conservatory to study with world famous flute soloist Aldo Baerten. He obtained his Bachelor degree on flute performance and education with honours in 2012. In addition, he studied piccolo with Gudrun Bourel and Baroque performance with Mr. Wilbert Hazelzet. In 2015 he obtained his Master degree in flute performance on stages. He participated in several Masterclasses worldwide with famous flutists such as Sir James Galway, E. Pahud, W. Bennett, P.L Graf, M. Bellavance, S. Milan, D. Bouriakov etc. He was a member of the Symphony orchestra of Prague Conservatoire and Utrecht as well. He appears regularly in flute recitals and chamber music concerts in The Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, and Cyprus. Currently he is a guest member of Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and the founder of Quintus Wind Quintet. He appears regularly with Commandaria Orchestra (Cyprus) and he enjoys a performing career as a soloist and chamber musician.


Anna Kulikova (harp) was born in Moscow. She finished College under Moscow Conservatory and completed her master degree in Russian Gnessins Academy of Music under professor Natalia Shameeva. She won the 1st prize in the Russian Harp Society competition and participated in many concerts and festivals. From 2023 she started cooperation with Likio Makariou and Cyprus Symphonic Orchestra.


Silikou is a mountain village located in the Limassol district of Cyprus. It is situated in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains, approximately 25 kilometres northwest of Limassol city. The village has a population of around 200 people and is known for its traditional architecture, narrow streets, an olive tree with a built-in water fountain and beautiful scenery. The village is surrounded by vineyards, easy walking routes and the local area wineries produce some of the best wines in Cyprus. Visitors can take a tour of the wineries, sample the local wines, meet Pericles the donkey and learn about the history and traditions of winemaking in the region. Overall, Silikou is a charming and picturesque village that offers visitors a glimpse into the traditional Cypriot way of life. Whether you are interested in history, architecture, art, or wine, there is something for everyone to enjoy in Silikou.


Music in the Mountains was founded in 2005 by Pam Groves, Mike Groves and Andrew Oliver. It was created in order to present a wide range of high-quality concerts in all musical genres in the mountain villages in the Limassol and Paphos regions, including Lofou, Trimiklini, Silikou and Ineia as well as occasional events in Limassol and Paphos.
