The Police arrested two more persons aged 15 yesterday afternoon to facilitate investigations into a case of conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor, robbery, carrying weapons to incite terror, causing actual and grievous bodily harm and offences in violation of the Law on Combating Certain Forms and Expressions of Racism and Xenophobia, committed yesterday morning in Limassol.
The two 15-year-olds were arrested under court arrest warrants, and questioned in the presence of their lawyer and parents. They allegedly admitted their involvement in the case.

Three vehicles went up in flames last night. One of them was reported stolen at the end of May. It is a double-cab vehicle belonging to a 58-year-old Greek Cypriot who was found on fire in an open area in Paphos. Apparently the perpetrators wanted to wipe out evidence.
In another case, two vehicles belonging to foreigners parked in an underground parking lot of an apartment building were almost completely destroyed by a fire that set in one vehicle and spread to the other.
The owners of the vehicles, who may be absent abroad, have not yet been identified.

A 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after midnight today and taken into custody, facilitating investigations into an ongoing case of possession and circulation of counterfeit currency.
The 20-year-old was arrested after police received a tip that a person tried to buy a drink at a pub in Ayia Napa using counterfeit banknotes.
As part of the investigation of the case, a member of the Famagusta OPE located the 20-year-old in the said pub. During a body search, he was found in possession of a sum of money amounting to €550.
Upon further inspection, it was found that these were counterfeit banknotes and the 20-year-old was arrested for flagrant offences.
This morning, the 20-year-old was taken to the Famagusta District Court, which issued a detention order for five days. The ICF of Famagusta continues the examinations.

An improvised device exploded at 23.40 on Saturday at the premises of a contractor company in Anthoupoli, causing extensive damage to the premises.
According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, investigations carried out at the scene found that the explosion was due to the detonation of an improvised low-power explosive device.
He added that the scene was cordoned off for tests to resume on Sunday morning.
