A 29-year-old man who arrived at Paphos airport loaded with drugs in his luggage was handcuffed by YKAN.
According to a police statement, members of YKAN, in cooperation with members of the Customs and Excise Department, stopped a 29-year-old man who had arrived from abroad for inspection at Pafos airport.
During searches of his luggage, 19 nylon packages containing approximately 19kg of cannabis were found, as well as a nylon package containing a quantity of white powder resembling cocaine, weighing a total of one kilogram.
The 29-year-old was arrested and detained, while the YKAN (Paphos Unit) continues the examinations.
