PROMOTION IN THE BALTICS BY ETAP PAPHOS AND NUMBER OF HOTELIERS
A representative of ETAP Pafos and a number of its hoteliers are currently in the Baltics region to participate in workshops organized in collaboration with specialized PR house and invited more than 150 travel agents from these countries.
The workshops/presentations in the Baltics will be held on 30, 31 May and 1 June 2023 at cities of Vilnius-Lithuania, Riga-Latvia, and Tallinn-Estonia.
The aim of these workshops is to inform business partners about the destination "Paphos" but also the announcement of the distinction of Paphos as the European Smart Capital Tourism 2023.
We note that Ryanair for the summer season 2023 operates weekly to Paphos 3 flights from Kaunas and 2 from Riga. At Larnaca airport they are operated by Wizz air 2 weekly flights from Vilnius and from Air Baltic, 2/week from Riga.
As can be seen from the statistics, these markets have recorded satisfactory results increases in recent years with the largest percentage being individual visitors (FIT).
The whole effort of participating in exhibitions and workshops, hosting tourist agents and of journalists, PR actions and other promotional actions are included in one broader context of the joint efforts of Paphos' agencies and entrepreneurs, the of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and others, for the recovery of tourism and attracting visitors on a round-the-clock basis.
