A 41-year-old man who was wanted in connection with ongoing burglary and theft cases was arrested and detained.
These are two cases of residential burglary and theft, allegedly committed on March 31 and April 08, 2023, in the Paphos district, as well as a case of committing the offences of illegal possession of property, illegal possession of explosives, and possession of burglary tools, allegedly committed on April 15, 2023, also in the Paphos district.
As part of an investigation into the three cases, evidence emerged against the 41-year-old suspect. After a court arrest warrant was issued against him and he was wanted, on April 28 the police proceeded to publish his details and photograph, in order to collect information that could lead to his location.
The 41-year-old was located and arrested by members of the Paphos Police and detained for the purpose of investigating the three cases.
The cases are being investigated by the ICF of Pafos.
