A three-day detention order was issued by the Pafos District Court against a 41-year-old man in a case of illegal possession of property.
According to the Spokesperson of the Pafos Police Authority and Head of the Pafos ICF, Michalis Nicolaou, on 12.5.23 at 20:40 members of the "Z" team intercepted a vehicle, which was driven by a 41-year-old person.
The driver underwent a narcotest test and, according to police, tested positive. Further inside the vehicle was allegedly found property which was reasonably suspected to be stolen goods such as batteries, metal utensils, electrical items, a suitcase with coins and an electric motor.
Also in the possession of the 41-year-old, burglary tools were allegedly found.
The 41-year-old was arrested and placed in three-day custody.
The examinations for the case continue by the ICF of Pafos.
