Police in Limassol on Wednesday are looking for the owner of a bulldog dog that attacked and injured a 69-year-old woman.
According to the police statement, the 69-year-old reported to police that at around 5 pm on Tuesday, while walking in the Germasogeia tourist area, a brown bulldog dog, belonging to an unknown woman who had it on a leash, attacked and bit her. According to the complainant, the dog’s owner took her dog and left the scene.
The complainant went to a private clinic in Limassol where she received first aid for abrasions on her upper torso, and was discharged.
Members of the Germasogeia police station went to the scene and carried out on-site examinations.
The owner of the dog is wanted and is described as a 30- to 40-year-old woman, of slim build, with long straight hair.
