Forty-one complaints about traffic violations arose in the last twenty-four hours in the context of a coordinated operation conducted by the Pafos Police Authority.
Paphos Police Director Nikos Tsapis said that 41 traffic complaints were made in the last twenty-four hours, of which 14 concerned driving under the influence of alcohol and two under the influence of drugs. The rest, he continued, concerned minor traffic offences.
Also, Tsapis said, four recreation centres that did not have the required licenses to broadcast music were denounced. He added that coordinated operations would continue and intensify.
Asked about this, Mr. Tsapis said that checks will continue in order for drivers to comply with the road safety code, but also to acquire road consciousness.
