The Department of Forests proceeds with the installation of cameras in the forest area of Akamas.
The aim is to protect the unique area, since in the past arsonists had targeted the forest areas of Akamas by placing incendiary devices.
The cameras will record at least the vehicles moving in the area, while surveillance of the area has been done since last year with drones.
