The police arrested a 67-year-old Greek Cypriot from Limassol, the owner of an Insurance Office, yesterday in connection with the case of obtaining a driving license with false representations and circulation of a false document with 20 foreigners from third countries involved. Two other persons were also arrested in the case.
In particular, during the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against the man, against whom an arrest warrant was issued, and after he was arrested and taken into custody. Under questioning, the accused denied any involvement in the case and gave some allegations, which are being investigated.
Today he is expected to be brought before a court to apply for detention. Another 30-year-old Indian wanted man has been arrested in the case, and testimony has also emerged against a 29-year-old man from Pakistan, who was also arrested last night.
