The Grants and Allowances Service of the Ministry of Finance (following the announcement dated 9/2/2023) informs the public that the receipt of applications for the concession of State Student Welfare (student grants and student allowances) for the academic year 2022/2023 has begun.
Interested parties are invited to submit their applications by Friday, March 31, 2023. It is emphasized that this deadline is set by the Student Care Concession Law of 2015 to 2022 and cannot be extended.
The following are highlighted:
- Applications will be received ONLY from the local Citizen Service Centres (KEP) and the Citizen's Centres (KEPO) housed in the Central District Post Office.
- The application forms for state student care are available, from 9/2/2023, ONLY on the website of the MoD, at the e-mail address http:// www.mof.gov.cy. As JEPs do not have application forms at their disposal, citizens should obtain the relevant application forms online before coming to the Centres to deliver their application.
- Upon receipt of applications, JEPs will not check the applications. For the need to present any additional supporting documents / certificates, applicants will be informed by the Sponsorships and Allowances Service.
