The body of a woman was found on Saturday morning, in the sea area of Petra tou Romiou and a major police operation is already underway to clarify the case.
According to the Police, the body was found at 10:00 in the morning by visitors to the monument who informed the authorities. Members of the Police rushed to the spot, who have begun an operation to transport the body to the shore, with the assistance of the helicopter of the air wing of the Police.
The investigations are in the early stages, according to the police officials, while all possibilities are being examined.

A young woman from Ukraine was found dead in the area of Petra tou Romiou. She fell from a great height and was killed.
An expatriate who was with her, having travelled there by vehicle, is being interrogated. His claim that in her attempt to take pictures she lost her balance and fell from a very high height, resulting in fatal injuries, is being investigated.
