She is probably the oldest voter to go to the ballot box nationwide. It is the grandmother Argyri Achilleos, who has hopefully completed her 102 years and who early in the morning, accompanied by a relative, went to the polling station of the community of Tala, where she lives and exercised her right to vote.
Grandma Argyri completed the relevant procedure immediately, since she has a lot of... experience. It is no small thing to have taken part as an elector in all the elections that have been held since the establishment of the Republic of Cyprus.
She herself does not stop looking at things with optimism. Asked as she left the polling station, she did not hesitate to answer with certainty that she would cast her vote in the next presidential election as well, prompting applause and exclamations of admiration from those present.
