PEYIA CARNIVAL

Dozens of floats, hundreds of groups and thousands of visitors gathered this afternoon in the  Municipality of Pegeia and in particular in the tourist area of Coral Bay.

In a festive event, in which the fun was beating red, the Municipality of Pegeia organized its large carnival parade on the central avenue of Coral Bay, creating an image of celebration and mass participation that reminded for good of the pre-pandemic times.

Apart from the participants and the spectators, the corresponding decoration of the area by the municipal authority contributed to the crowning of today's day with absolute success. The carnival parade also included groups from neighbouring areas of Pegeia, such as Tala and Kissonerga, while the very good weather conditions that prevailed today in the area helped to flock to it many locals and foreigners, combining the Carnival parade with an exit to the recreation centres of the area and visits to points of interest.
