The Municipality of Paphos announces that in the context of the Events of the Pafitiko Carnival on February 25, 2023, there will be the following traffic arrangements.
Due to the procession of the Floats and Groups, which will participate in the Great Carnival Parade, which will start from the Monument of Makarios and Resistance on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 12.00 noon. until 7.00 p.m., the traffic on Griva Digeni, Grigoris Afxentiou, Evagoras Pallikaridis Avenue at the height with Char. Mouskou, Nikos Antoniadis at the height with Pallados Street and Apostolou Pavlou Avenue at the height with Agapinoros and the adjacent streets, will not be allowed.
Citizens will be able to use the following Parking Spaces:
– Former Police Department
– Stadium of the 7th Primary School
– Lyceum A' Stadium ( " G. S. Korivos ")
– Parking "Karavella"
– Parking lot near the Pontian Hellenism Genocide Monument.
To avoid inconvenience, drivers are kindly requested to avoid approaching these roads and using other directions for their destination.
