Within the framework of the actions of the Pafos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company for the promotion of the title of European Capital of Smart Tourism 2023 but also for the enrichment of the tourist experience of visitors during off-peak periods, a free tour / tour of the Old Town of Paphos is launched for the months of March and April.
The tour "Meteo the locals" is carried out by a licensed guide and includes "exploration" of the area around the centre of Paphos, the neoclassical buildings, the renewed squares, the shopping centre, and many other points of interest.
The main goal of the effort is, in addition to enriching the tourist experience, to make even more known the Old Town and the lesser known parts of the centre as well as the projects and infrastructure created.
The journey starts from the bus stop "Agora" every Thursday at 09.30 and the participants through the tour of about 2.5 hours enjoy a wide range of experiences. Through the narrow streets and the now upgraded neighbourhoods, squares and pedestrian streets, the walk ends at the Tourist Information Office on Makarios Street in the Old Town where the participants have the time now for further touring, shopping or rest.
This tour takes place for the months of March and April 2023.
