An investor of Israeli origin, as we are in a position to know, has submitted a proposal to the Bank of Cyprus for the acquisition of the former Orphanides supermarket in Paphos, for an amount exceeding €3 million. It is a hypermarket located in the area of Agios Theodoros in Paphos, within walking distance from the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium.
The building has a total area of 3,149 sq. m., including a basement of 925 sq. m. and can be expanded through other commercial uses. It is located on land of 7 plots, with a total area of 3,686 sq.m.
The Israeli investor, however, asked for a change in the use of the property, as he does not want to reopen as a supermarket, but as luxurious office space and is already cooperating with the Bank of Cyprus in all appropriate actions.
