INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO FIND OUT WHERE TO VOTE

NB - Third country nationals do not have a vote.  Only Cypriot Nationals and Cypriot Passport holders can vote - and only if they have applied for a vote

People who want to know where to vote in the upcoming presidential elections can find out online and through phone calls and text messages, chief returning officer Costas Constantinou announced on Friday.

Voters can find out the locations of polling stations by entering their ID number and birth date at wtv.elections.moi.gov.cy or sending the same information via SMS to 1199.

Information is also available at 77 77 22 12 and separate contacts per district.

For Nicosia, people can call on 22 804348, 22 804295, 22 804349, or 22 804283, Limassol 25 806443, 25 806454, 25 806406, and 25 806447, Famagusta on 23 200935, 23 200937, 23 200938, or 23 200922, Larnaca on 24 801870, 24 801872, 24 801858, and 24 801868 while for Paphos on 26 801143, 26 801144, and 26 801148. The number for the interior ministry is 22 867640.

Charges for a call to the national numbers are €0.15 per minute. For texts to 1199, there is a €0.034 charge per message. Those wishing to send a message for information must write ‘wtv’ space, their ID number, space, and date of birth.
