COVID-19 - VACCINATION OF VISITORS AT WALK-IN CENTRES

The Ministry of Health, with the aim of strengthening the immunity of the population against COVID-19 and better serving the citizens, has proceeded with the planning of the possibility of vaccination to people who visit the Republic of Cyprus and wish to be given the vaccine against the disease.

Specifically, the vaccination of foreign visitors who come to Cyprus for a short period of time beyond two weeks, for a visit to their family, for work or for another reason, and who do not fall into the category of immigrants, political asylum seekers or refugees from other third countries, has been approved.

Vaccination of foreign visitors will be able to be done at walk-in vaccination centres in all provinces.

It is reminded that:

  • The walk-in vaccination centres in all districts, with the exception of the vaccination centres in *Kyperounta and **Polis Chrysochous, are open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am - 2:30pm 
  • A booster dose of vaccine is recommended to people aged 12 years and over, provided that the period of five (5) months has elapsed since the last dose of vaccine.
  • Vaccination with a booster dose of vaccine is recommended after 3 months from the 1st positive test against COVID-19.
  • In order to carry out vaccination, an identification document (identity card, passport) and a vaccination card must be presented. Foreign visitors must provide proof that they are in Cyprus (e.g. arrival ticket), beyond 2 weeks.

Regarding the vaccination of persons under the age of 18, the Written Consent Form of parents / guardians signed by both parents, where applicable, is required.
