TWO SPOTTED LOADING STOLEN GOODS INTO THEIR CAR

At around 7.45 this morning, information was received concerning two persons who were leaving a house that was not theirs in a village in the Pafos district and loading objects into their car.

Members of the Police went to the point where during the examinations, it was found that the specific residence had been burglarized, while various samples were taken from the spot for further scientific examinations.

As part of the investigation of the case, members of the ICF Paphos stopped a specific vehicle for inspection and in which 58-year-old and 35-year-old were both residents of the Pafos district were on board.

The above were arrested after fines were pending against them and then during the search of the car, a plastic container containing 9 nylon packages with a white crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine, totaling about 4.5 grams as well as another 8 nylon packages containing a white crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine, was found. a total weight of about 2.5 grams.

Also in the possession of the 58-year-old was found in her wallet a sum of money as well as 17 nylon packages containing a white crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine, totaling about 7 grams.

This was followed by a search of the 58-year-old's home in the presence of the 35-year-old whom she hosts from time to time where a precision scale was found on which there were traces of white methamphetamine-like dust.

Eleven paintings, nine mobile phones, computer screens, a computer tower, various electronic devices, eleven pairs of sunglasses, as well as two military rifle cartridges were also found.

The above persons were re-arrested on the basis of court warrants and detained while the ICF Paphos in cooperation with the YKAN (Paphos Unit) continue the examinations.
