Four images of a chapel in Tremithousa have been stolen since December 16 and the Police are continuing intensive investigations to identify them and arrest the perpetrators.
This is the chapel of Prophet Elias in the area of Tremithousa, where unholy burglars entered and after finding no money in the bench they took with them four icons of saints. According to members of the church committee, these are not icons of archaeological value, but their monetary value amounts to one thousand euros.
The Police have proceeded with the collection of evidence and laboratory analyses on them, while continuing the evaluation of information and testimonies to identify the perpetrators.
