PARLIAMENT - PASSED REGULATIONS FOR AN INDEPENDENT AUTHORITY AGAINST CORRUPTION

The Plenum of the Parliament voted on the regulations for the establishment and operation of the Independent Authority against Corruption with 38 MPs in favour.

Also, the Plenary voted an amendment tabled by the President of the Ecologists' Movement – Citizens' Cooperation Charalambos Theopemptou that states that each complaint and / or information submitted by name to the Independent Authority against Corruption will bear a serial number, which will be notified to the person who submitted it, in order to ensure the transparency and traceability of the cases examined by the Independent Authority against Corruption.

38 Members voted in favour of the amendment.
