In a coordinated operation carried out in the last 24 hours by members of the ADE in Paphos to combat traffic offences, 42 traffic complaints were made.
According to Paphos Police Director Nikos Tsapis, of the 42 traffic complaints, 14 concerned driving under the influence of alcohol while an 18-year-old driver was spotted driving in Paphos under the influence of drugs.
He said the remaining complaints are about smaller traffic violations.
Mr. Tsapis added that the coordinated operations of the Police will continue at a later stage and called on citizens to drive with a road conscience.
