More than 300 out-of-court complaints for various traffic offences arose after traffic police checks carried out nationwide in the last 24 hours.
The majority of the complaints concerned offences, which are proven to be one of the main causes of serious and fatal road collisions.
Of these, 97 complaints stand out, for exceeding the speed limit, as well as 13 for driving under the influence of drugs.
The mobilization of the Police on the road network, to prevent serious and fatal road collisions, always remains increased.
Targeted traffic checks continue daily, around the clock, throughout the road network nationwide.
The sole objective is the consolidation of the correct road consciousness by all road users and the prevention of fatal and serious road collisions.
