Filenews 24 December 2022 - by Angelos Nicolaou

Fuel prices will be even lower from today, with the price of petrol falling two cents a litre and diesel five cents a litre.

However, it is unknown how long these prices will last at the pump, since in recent days international prices have stabilized just above $80 a barrel. Yesterday the average price of 95-octane gasoline was €1,432, 98-octane gasoline €1,50, diesel €1,653, heating oil €1,175, kerosene €1,216 and agricultural oil €1,216.

Therefore, it is expected that after the reductions, the average price of unleaded 95 will be sold at €1.42, unleaded 98 at €1.475, diesel €1.62, heating oil €1.16 and kerosene €1.20 per litre. The price of unleaded 95 ranges from €1,363 to €1,507, petrol 98 from €1,424 to €1,698, diesel €1,595 to €1,758, heating oil €1,11 to €1,448 and kerosene €1,141 to €1,520.

Based on the average prices in force in July 2022, i.e. unleaded €1,827, diesel €1,989 and heating oil €1,517, we observe that in the last five months there has been a decrease of 40,7 cents per litre in unleaded 95 octane, 36,9 cents per litre in diesel and 35,7 cents per litre in heating oil.
