A small deer at the Limassol Zoo had a sad ending, according to an eponymous complaint on social media.
The unlucky animal, as reported, died when its horns were caught in a metal mesh, and did not manage to extricate itself.
The complainants, who are the group "the garden in ours" blame the Municipality and demand that the Zoo be closed.
In particular, it refers to:
"This Rudolph will not have Christmas. He died today at the Limassol Zoo, when his horns were caught in a metal mesh, which should not have been around a tree. The Zoo is another crime maintained by the Limassol Municipality under the pretext of "entertaining children".
Mr. Mayor, ladies and gentlemen Municipal Councillors, how are you going to explain this to our children?

Get rid of plastic unicorns today!
Unify the Limassol Public Garden and give all of us, our children too, a place of respect for flora and fauna, as a garden should be."
