A coordinated operation was carried out by the Paphos Police to combat the phenomenon of noise pollution in the last four days, in the context of which 19 recreation centres were reported.
According to the Spokesperson of the Paphos ADE and Head of the Paphos ICF, Michalis Nikolaou, in an operation carried out by the Paphos Police in the last four days, 19 recreation centres were reported for violations related to the use of loudspeakers, operating license and other offences.
Also, four persons were reported in the last four days for using personal mobility devices on roads where they were forbidden to use them (scooters).
Police operations to combat noise pollution will continue at a later stage.
